$23/hour Position Overview We are seeking an Audio Visual & IT Support Technician to provide hands-on support for audio/visual technologies, desktop computing equipment, printers, mobile devices, and corporate events. This role supports board meetings, public forums, customer outreach events, and daily technology operations. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting AV and IT equipment, supporting end users, and assisting with event setup and execution. This is an onsite position based in San Antonio, TX. Candidates must be flexible to support occasional after-hours, weekend, holiday events, and participate in an on-call rotation when required. Key Responsibilities Support audio and visual technology requirements for board meetings, corporate events, public relations activities, and onsite or remote meetings. Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair: Audio/Visual equipment Projectors, mixers, microphones, speakers, and PA systems Desktop computers and laptops Multifunction printers, scanners, and plotters Video conferencing equipment Mobile devices and telephones Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 onsite and remote technical support. Set up, operate, and dismantle AV equipment for meetings and events. Support live broadcasting encoders and video conferencing technologies. Coordinate equipment deliveries, installations, and relocations with internal teams and vendors. Perform maintenance and repair services on printers, scanners, and plotters. Create and maintain troubleshooting guides, process documentation, and end-user training materials. Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase operational efficiency. Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and industry best practices. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Experience supporting and maintaining audio/visual equipment, including LCD/LED displays, projectors, and PA systems. Experience supporting multifunction printers, scanners, and plotters. Familiarity with a tiered IT support environment. Basic understanding of PC networking concepts and Windows Active Directory. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to follow directions, prioritize tasks, and work independently. Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree or higher. CompTIA A+ Certification and/or Network+ Certification. Knowledge of Audio/Visual technologies and best practices.
