Audio Engineering Full Job Description Summary:

Implements live sound reinforcement and livestreamed/recorded audio and video for Sunday morning worship every week.

Position Status :

Part Time:

every Sunday approximately 9:00am-12:30pm. Plus approximately 6-12 special events as necessary through the year: Christmas Eve, Easter week, funerals, concerts, etc.

Pay Rate:

Starting pay is $30/hour, eligible for performance-based increases in 6 months.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Run the audio system for live sound reinforcement and recorded audio for Sunday worship services and other events; Run the video switcher and PTZ cameras for live-stream and recorded video; Work with Sunday staff to ensure correct placement of microphones and video angles; Upload videos to internet and apply correct metadata; Input information for lower-thirds graphics for display during services; Assist in setup for other AV tasks as necessary; Advise church on necessary hardware upgrades as necessary; Must be dependable, able to work independently, and communicative regarding scheduling and technical needs.

Qualifications:

Experience with live sound reinforcement setup and operation; Experience with recorded audio setup and operation; Experience desirable with BlackMagic ATEM video switchers; Ability to communicate with event staff in order to determine AV needs.

Physical Requirements :

While performing the duties of the job, employee is regularly required to be mobile within a historic office setting equipped with stairs; to talk or hear both in person and on the phone; operate standard office equipment; occasionally stoop or bend; and lift up to 25 pounds.
