08/26/2026 Job Description Job Description Position Summary The AV Technician Level 2 is responsible for installation and field integration of commercial audio/visual systems including speakers, amplifiers, displays, racks, and control equipment. This role works independently on standard installations and supports larger team project deployments. Core Responsibilities Install speakers, amplifiers, DSPs, and AV control hardware Install and mount displays and projectors Build and dress equipment racks with proper cable management Run and terminate speaker wire, Cat6, HDMI, control cable Terminate and test structured cabling Install digital signage players and control processors Assist with system commissioning and signal testing Technical Skills Required Ability to build clean, professional rack systems Understanding of balanced vs unbalanced audio Familiarity with DSP signal flow (QSC, Biamp, etc.) Basic networking knowledge for AV over IP systems Ability to troubleshoot signal flow issues Experience with commercial AV systems preferred Field Expectations Work independently on smaller AV projects Follow wiring diagrams and system schematics Maintain clean cable management standards Ensure systems are fully tested before handoff Provide basic end-user training when required Qualifications 2-4 years experience in commercial AV installation Strong understanding of signal flow fundamentals Experience mounting displays and installing ceiling speakers Comfortable using lifts and power tools Clean driving record Company Description We've been in business for more than two decades and are vetted through the Department of Criminal Justice Services.
