Job Description

Seeking an experienced residential custom integration technician with hands-on experience installing and programming Control4 systems, AV, networking, surveillance, lighting control, and structured wiring. This is not an entry-level position.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and integrate home theaters, distributed audio, video, lighting, and automation systems. Program and maintain Control4 systems for seamless automation (lighting, shading, climate, and security). Build and wire AV racks, terminate cables, and manage structured wiring. Configure home networks (routers, switches, WiFi) to support automation and AV systems. Test, troubleshoot, and calibrate equipment for optimal performance. Provide training and support to clients on system use and functionality. Collaborate with designers, project managers, and contractors to ensure smooth installation and project completion. Maintain accurate project documentation, wiring diagrams, and system notes. Stay current with emerging AV and smart home technologies. Comfortable with attics and crawl spaces
Qualifications:
2+ years of AV installation experience preferred (residential or commercial). Hands-on knowledge of Control4. Strong understanding of AV integration, networking, and IT fundamentals. Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and client-facing communication. Valid driver's license; ability to lift and carry over to 50 lbs.
