8 Job Summary The LAPD Information Technology Bureau is seeking Junior System Aides to support basic radio calibration and programming. This is an entry-level technical role requiring attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures. Responsibilities Perform basic radio calibration and programming. Configure, test, and maintain communication equipment. Follow technical procedures and maintain accurate records. Provide general technical support as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Basic IT, electronics, or hardware knowledge preferred. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Must pass an LAPD background investigation. Must be available to start on August 17, 2026.
