JOB SUMMARY
The Reliability Technician 2 shall maintain adherence of Marki products to our quality and reliability management guidelines. The Reliability Technician will report to the Reliability Manager and will assist all production staff in production operations. Responsible for testing and inspecting products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties personally or through associates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Interpret assembly drawings/instructions Perform reliability testing of components (temperature cycling, burn in, etc.) Follow a test plan traveler and ensure compliance and help develop test plans and travelers with guidance from Engineering and QA Analyze reliability and durability tests at the technology, product and/or package level following industry standards such as MIL-SPEC, JEDEC, space grade certifications and/or customer specified reliability testing. Track reliability metrics and analysis of product performance variation Ship/receive test components from external vendors performing services Perform basic electrical tests and mechanical tests Evaluate, select, install, and operate reliability test equipment and write interface data collection into MES or a database. Collect and record required reliability inspection reports and prepare Hi-Rel data pack for delivery and support Customer Source Inspections as required Perform In-process, Final and Receiving Inspection Discrepancy Reports. Setup and train for mass data entry Approves Final and in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; Perform minor repairs & equipment adjustments or calling for repairs if required. Identifies errors in existing production documentation and assists quality and engineering staff to execute corrective actions and disposition reports Collect data for SPC charts Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of experience in in Electronic Inspection or technician role
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Drive execution of corrective actions kicked off by Quality and Engineering staff Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications. Trains junior technicians and operators to established processes. Drive maintenance and perform preventative maintenance of process and reliability equipment and electronic interface with data collection systems Follow industry soldering and assembly workmanship standards Comply with company standards associated with
ISO:
9001 and AS9100 Strong communication skills, verbal and written Proficiency with Microsoft Office products Create and revise reliability process specifications with the input of more senior technicians and engineers.
