Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Hardware Systems & Imaging Technician to manage the procurement, installation, and optimization of high-performance desktop computers and industrial camera systems. This role bridges IT hardware procurement with specialized machine vision engineering, ensuring systems are deployed, configured, and physically installed to meet precise imaging requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Desktop Procurement & Hardware Upgrades:
Request, procure, and set up high-performance workstations. Install and verify the performance of specialized GPUs for imaging tasks. Install dedicated Ethernet cards (NICs) for industrial camera connectivity.
Imaging System Setup & Configuration:
Configure workstations for machine vision, including securing camera drivers. Inventory, check, and test cameras, lenses, and cabling to ensure optimal functionality.
Physical Camera Installation & Calibration:
Physically mount cameras in designated locations based on engineering plans. Perform precise Focus, Field of View (FoV), and Exposure adjustments. Run and manage all camera-related cabling.
Facilities Coordination:
Install desktop holder brackets and necessary structural supports for cameras within the facility. Required Qualifications Proven experience in IT hardware assembly (GPU, PCIe card installation). Experience with machine vision cameras and cabling Ability to work with hand tools for hardware mounting and cable management. Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware/software connectivity. #
