- Supervises video instruction staff in operation of technical equipment, including training, scheduling, directing, and evaluating staff.
- Maintains facility equipment and supply inventory, including assisting with design, acquisition, and installation of distance learning technology.
- Works within a team environment on projects and tasks as assigned.
- Provides training and technical assistance to equipment users.
- Remains current with trends in video production and copyright law as it applies to academic settings.
Good Knowledge of:
- Principles and techniques of digital video production.
Experience:
- Operating a variety of video production equipment, such as video switcher, audio mixer, microphone, and video camera.
- Supervising to include assigning work, providing work direction and monitoring work quality.
- Using personal computers and standard software including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Supplemental Information
