Radio Frequency Range Technician Fail-Safe Solutions, LLC is a Veteran-Owned Small Business headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We support the Department of Defense in Test & Evaluation, specialized training, and operation of a Radio Frequency Test Range at Camp Gruber, Oklahoma. We are seeking a full-time Radio Frequency Range Technician to join our small, experienced technical team. This is a hands-on position supporting RF systems, cellular and computer networks, communications equipment, field-deployable systems, and military training and T&E events.

Start:

Immediate opening supporting an existing DoD program Primary Responsibilities Install, configure, integrate, test, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain RF, cellular, networking, communications, and related range systems. Support military training, Test & Evaluation, and range operations. Configure and maintain computers, servers, routers, switches, wireless networks, and associated hardware. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and communications-system problems. Install and terminate network and communications cabling. Deploy, operate, recover, and maintain field equipment used during exercises and test events. Research, evaluate, requisition, and recommend equipment and technical solutions. Maintain accurate accountability and inventory of government-furnished equipment. Work directly with military, government, and contractor personnel during exercises and T&E activities. Support occasional off-site T&E and training events. Minimum Qualifications U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. Five years of military or civilian technical experience in one or more of the following areas: RF or radio communications Cellular communications Computer networks SIGINT Electronic Warfare Cyber or IT systems Telecommunications Electronics A relevant bachelor's degree, technical education, or equivalent training may substitute for a portion of the experience requirement. Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team with limited supervision. Valid U.S. driver's license. Ability to occasionally work extended hours, evenings, weekends, or holidays in support of scheduled missions. Ability to work in indoor and outdoor field environments, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks associated with range operations. Ability to safely operate required vehicles, tools, and equipment. Highly Desired Experience Prior military experience in communications, SIGINT, Electronic Warfare, cyber, networking, IT, or electronics.

Marine Corps:

06XX, 17XX, 26XX, 28XX, or related specialties

Navy:

CWT, CTR, IT, ET, or related ratings

Air Force:

1B4, 1D7, 1N2, or related specialties Experience with cellular technologies or RF communications. LAN, WAN, and WLAN configuration and troubleshooting. Router, switch, firewall, and server administration. Windows and Linux administration. Wi-Fi/802.11 deployment and troubleshooting. Category 5e/6 cabling installation and termination. Android device configuration and operation. Scripting or basic programming experience. Experience supporting military ranges, exercises, field operations, or T&E activities.
