Master Control Switcher - KLSR TV Position Overview The
KLSR/KEVU
Master Control Operator position includes monitoring and delivering on-air broadcast signals, recording programs from satellite and fiber feeds for later use, setting up automated playlists for programming and commercials, and monitoring transmitter and other signal distribution for compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain quality and accuracy of the

air signals between programs & commercials. Operate automation system, video servers, satellite receivers, file-based content delivery systems and related computer systems. Acquire and prepare content for broadcast. Run live sporting and other live events. Log all discrepancies, maintain transmitter log and monitor multiple signals simultaneously. Work closely with Programming, Traffic, Engineering, and Production departments. Maintain communication with key staff members throughout shift and assist all departments or individuals to promote quality broadcasting. Maintain proper attendance and punctuality to ensure stations are operated on-time and efficiently. Performs other related duties as required.
