Job Description

Job Overview Elm Park United Methodist Church is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented part-time Media Coordinator to primarily support Sunday morning worship and church communications. This role is essential in helping create a smooth, engaging worship experience through the effective use of media and technology. Key Responsibilities Prepare and manage weekly worship slides using EasyWorship software; Coordinate and oversee the tech booth during Sunday morning services; Recruit, schedule, and support volunteers serving in the media/tech booth; Ensure all media and technical elements (slides, audio, video, livestream if applicable) are prepared and functioning properly; Work collaboratively with pastoral staff to align media with worship themes and flow; Consult with pastoral staff on producing other videos and social media content. Qualifications Basic technical knowledge (audio/visual systems, presentation software, or livestreaming) or willingness and ability to learn quickly; Ability to work independently and problem-solve in real time; Reliability and consistency, especially on Sunday mornings; Experience with church media systems or EasyWorship is a plus, but not required. Schedule Expectations Approximately 10 hours per week, Sunday morning availability required; Flexible weekday hours for preparation and volunteer coordination and occasional midweek services.
