Job Description
Seeking a Live Stream Engineer for a corporate event in Austin, TX on October 8th. Engineer must be fluent with the VMIX workflow and have experience working in many disciplines of remote broadcasting including but not limited to transmission, audio, video, communications, RF, and IT Please send inquiries to [Please reply using Staff Me Up] and include all relevant work experience.
DUTIES INCLUDE
- Evaluate, test and install A/V hardware, and broadcast tools/software on location.
- Work with Producers on ROS implementation days prior to show.
- Working knowledge of network monitoring tools/analyzers to effectively troubleshoot networking issues as it relates to video delivery
- Assess all issues, adds, changes to mitigate potential system impact.
- Ongoing assessment of workflows, identifying manual processes that can be streamlined or improved upon with hardware, software or automation
- Produce work that is professional, reliable and detail oriented.
- Maintain inventory of all equipment used by Field Operations and keep up to date documentation
- Create pack list and manifest of equipment being deployed
- Other duties as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years experience setting up broadcasts
- Emotional Maturity and confidence under pressure
- A qualified applicant must possess a working knowledge of and experience with:
- Fluency using VMix Broadcast software
- Knowledge of Sony PWX-FS7 Camera system
- Audio mixers and microphones.
- Professional camera setup and color matching.
- Radio frequency microphones and transmitters.
- IP networks for use with PC's and streaming video.
- Must have demonstrable knowledge in all aspects of television production format
- Strong analytical, reasoning, technical troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
