Job Description
Seeking a Technical Director for a corporate event in Austin, TX on October 8th.. TD must be fluent with the VMIX workflow and have extensive experience working in many disciplines of remote broadcasting. If you have your own computer/encoder and switcher this is a huge plus!
DUTIES INCLUDE
- Produce work that is professional, reliable and detail oriented.
- Evaluate, test and install A/V hardware, and broadcast tools/software
Risk Management:
Assess all issues, adds, changes to mitigate potential system impact.- Ongoing assessment of workflows, identifying manual processes that can be streamlined or improved upon with new hardware, software or automation
- Other duties as deemed necessary
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years experience directing remote/on-location broadcasts
- Fluency using VMIX Broadcast software
QUALIFICATIONS
- A qualified applicant must possess a working knowledge of and experience with:
- Professional camera setup and color matching.
- Radio frequency microphones and transmitters.
- IP networks for use with PC's and streaming video.
- Must have demonstrable knowledge in all aspects of broadcast production format
