Digital features, such as Digital Emergency, Phone Patch, Call Alert, Text, GPS and Data. Implement Dispatch consoles - such as AvTec or SmartPTT. Troubleshoot RF technologies related to two-way radio Use a service monitor/spectrum analyzer/VNA and other test equipment for RF related troubleshooting and tuning. Install and repair Distributed Antennas Systems/DAS and Bidirectional Amplifier/BDA systems. Tune duplexers, combiners, and filters. Install/deploy radios and communication equipment in vehicles, buildings, and heavy equipment. Pull indoor and outdoor network and RF cabling. Terminate different types of networks, RF, and electrical cabling. Deploy and troubleshoot the IP networking side of

2.0 and/or Radio Management/RM. Experience in antenna design, duplexers, combining equipment and related test equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Service Monitors, RF Tuning). Experience in diagnosing radio interference issues. Experience in battery backup systems, power amplifiers, phone patches and cross-band radio interoperability. Working knowledge of IP networking, subnets, VLANS, gateways, and IP addressing Experience with basic DC electricity and use of a Multimeter/DMM. Experience with using RF power meter to measure forward and reverse RF power on antenna and coax systems.
