Overview This position combines hands-on two-way radio technical work, customer service, and sales supporting commercial, industrial, government, public safety, and maritime customers. Responsibilities Install, program, troubleshoot, repair, and service two-way radio systems Work with Motorola portable and mobile radios Install and service vehicle radio systems Troubleshoot repeaters, base stations, antennas, RF, audio, and power issues Perform bench testing and equipment programming Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation Use electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools Visit customer locations for installations and service Recommend equipment and communication solutions based on customer needs Prepare quotes and assist with radio, accessory, and service sales Maintain accurate service and repair records Provide professional customer service and technical support What We're Looking For Two-way radio technician experience — 2+ years preferred Motorola experience preferred Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience with RF systems, repeaters, antennas, and vehicle installations Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams Strong communication and customer service skills Sales experience is a plus Valid driver's license and good driving record Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits & Compensation $30-$38/hour based on experience and qualifications Additional bonus opportunities CRCI pays the employee premium for all insurance Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Optional employee-funded disability coverage RetirePath of VA plan Paid vacation and sick leave Paid holidays Motorola training/certification, FCC licensing, or related communications training is a plus.
