Job Description
Audio/Visual Technician for St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 16 Bradley Avenue, Brattleboro We are seeking a dependable Audio/Visual Technician to support worship services and special events at our Episcopal church. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor audio and video systems during Sunday services.
- Manage live streaming through Vimeo.
- Operate and oversee Blackmagic Design camera systems and related equipment.
- Mix and monitor multi-channel audio for both in-person and online audiences.
- Troubleshoot audio, video, streaming, and connectivity issues as they arise.
- Assist with setup, testing, and shutdown of A/V equipment.
- Maintain consistent production quality for worship services and special events.
- Provide basic instruction and support to volunteers as needed. Qualifications
- Experience with live-streaming platforms, particularly Vimeo.
- Familiarity with Blackmagic Design cameras and video production workflows.
- Knowledge of multi-channel audio systems and sound reinforcement.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve common audio, video, and streaming problems.
- Comfortable learning church-specific systems and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
