Copywriter

Description We are looking for a talented Copywriter to join a retail organization in Atlanta, Georgia on a Contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for a writer who can create compelling brand-aligned messaging across a range of formats while balancing creativity with accuracy. The role calls for someone who can partner effectively with cross-functional teams, adapt tone for different audiences, and deliver high-quality work within fast-moving deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Create clear, persuasive copy that reflects brand standards and supports retail marketing objectives.
• Produce content for a variety of formats, including promotional materials, educational messaging, and editorial-style pieces.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather input, refine messaging, and ensure content meets business needs.
• Manage multiple writing assignments at once while maintaining quality and meeting established deadlines.
• Review and revise content based on feedback to improve clarity, consistency, and audience engagement.
• Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, tone alignment, and readiness for publication.
• Contribute ideas that strengthen campaign messaging and enhance the customer experience across channels. Requirements
• Proven experience in copywriting within a marketing, editorial, or retail environment that values attention to detail.
• Strong ability to write and adapt content for different audiences, channels, and content types.
• Hands-on experience with ad copywriting, email copywriting, and promotional messaging.
• Excellent copy editing and proofreading skills with close attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines effectively and perform well in a fast-paced Contract role.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with stakeholders and reviewers.
