Job Description

Summary:
The Copywriter is responsible for creating, proofreading and editing engaging, accurate and informative content across all marketing channels. This role works within a vibrant and fast-paced internal creative design studio and requires great attention to detail. AP Style familiarity is required. Familiarity with graphic design software (InDesign) is a plus. All projects should take into account health literacy levels.
Daily responsibilities include:
Develop, proofread and edit copy for marketing communications projects (both print and digital); review or create materials for other departments; and support special projects Partner closely with brand, creative, strategy, and medical care teams to bring ideas to life Contribute to brand standards and campaign messaging development Ensure consistent brand voice across all communication platforms Edit/revise content submitted by subject matter experts/service lines to develop and inject brand messaging Identify typographical, spelling, grammatical and usage errors Collaborate with graphic design team to ensure consistent look and feel Assist with basic graphic design, as needed Other responsibilities include duties such as interacting with external organizations/vendors and organization of department collateral, etc . Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, advertising or English Minimum 3-5 years writing experience in a (healthcare environment highly preferred) Exceptional proofreading and research skills Familiarity with HIPAA and medical ethics Excellent listening skills, flexible and energetic Ability to communicate one voice across multiple marketing tactics Ability to balance multiple projects, deadlines, and changing priorities Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) Knowledge of graphic design skills a plus (InDesign, Photoshop)
