Job Description

Dual Electronics is forming a new team to fuel the next chapter of growth across a diverse mix of brands—from century-old heritage icons to modern lifestyle innovators. If you're excited by the challenge of elevating established brands within the fast-paced world of consumer electronics, we'd love to have you on board. Role Purpose The Creative Director is the primary brand architect and strategic leader of the creative department. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Marketing & Product, this role drives the high-level direction for a multi-brand portfolio. The objective is to lead the transition from basic production to a proactive growth engine that creates high-converting content designed to "make things sell." As a "Player-Coach," you will manage the visual and narrative identity across all touchpoints, ensuring each brand's unique personality is reflected in its physical packaging and its digital presence. Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Brand Architecture & Execution (Primary Focus)
Brand Identity Management:
Define and maintain distinct visual and narrative identities for a portfolio ranging from premium lifestyle tech to heritage-based audio.
Omnichannel Strategy:
Lead a "box to screen" workflow philosophy that ensures consistency as products move from physical packaging to digital storefronts.
E-commerce & Web Leadership:
Oversee the production of high-impact visual assets (Amazon
A+, UI/UX
content) that drive conversion and ensure a premium consumer journey.
Social & Narrative:
Direct engaging static and video content, combining strong design with strategic brand positioning.
Creative Leadership & Production Hands-on Execution:
Personally execute flagship assets and "hero" concepts while providing feedback and mentorship to the design staff.
Departmental Collaboration:
Partner with Marketing Services to ensure high-level strategy aligns with technical accuracy, packaging designs, and project timelines.
Sales & Performance Integration:
Partner closely with Sales and Ecommerce leads to align creative content, messaging, and positioning with channel-specific goals, ensuring every asset is optimized for conversion and a clear ROI.
Executive Presentation:
Proficiently convert high-end designs into business-friendly formats (PowerPoint/PDF) to support leadership and sales teams.
Operational Excellence & Technology AI-Augmented Workflow:
Utilize AI tools to accelerate creative output, specifically for rapid concept development and automating asset variations.
Project Leadership:
Use project management tools to track complex workflows and ensure brand integrity on tight deadlines.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Design Mastery:
Expert level in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) with a focus on both digital and print.
Technical Versatility:
Proficiency with Figma and high comfort in the Microsoft 365 environment.
Marketing Sense:
Deep understanding of consumer psychology across luxury, heritage, and value-driven segments.
AI Integration:
Regular use of AI tools for rapid concepting and productivity.
Collaborative Maturity:
Professional maturity to balance feedback from multiple stakeholders while keeping projects on track.
Required Education and Experience Professional Experience:
7+ years of experience with a focus on brand storytelling, creative direction, and physical packaging.
Industry Knowledge:
Experience in consumer electronics is required; a background in car or home audio is highly desirable.
Portfolio:
Must provide a portfolio demonstrating high-end design and an ability to adapt to different brand positions.
Work Environment:
This is a 100% in-office role within the creative team at our headquarters. Health insurance / Four day workweek / Annual salary 90-100K with benefits
