We provide a clean, welcoming, and creative space where guests can relax, connect, and make memories. We are looking for a creative, organized, and guest-focused person who can help bring our studio's personality to life through social media, email marketing, events, pottery samples, and studio displays. About the Position The Creative Director & Studio Associate is a hands-on position that combines front-of-house studio responsibilities with content creation, marketing, visual merchandising, and event development. This is not a traditional desk-based marketing position. Initially, approximately 75% of the role will consist of regular Studio Associate duties, with approximately 25% dedicated to creative and marketing work. Applicants should enjoy working directly with guests just as much as they enjoy creating content and developing new ideas. This position does not directly supervise employees. However, the Creative Director will lead creative projects and train staff on promotions, event expectations, marketing, and guest-focused sales. The position reports directly to the owner. All events, promotions, and marketing campaigns require owner approval before launch. Studio Associate Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide a friendly, helpful studio experience. Explain the pottery-painting process, pricing, and available projects. Help guests select pottery, colors, techniques, and project options. Recommend relevant add-ons, events, workshops, and return visits without creating a high-pressure sales experience. Process purchases and registrations accurately. Answer studio phone calls, texts, emails, and guest questions. Assist with parties, workshops, events, and walk-in guests. Maintain clean, organized, stocked, and visually appealing guest areas. Restock pottery, paints, brushes, and other studio supplies. Complete assigned opening, closing, cleaning, and shift responsibilities. Perform all other regular front-of-house Studio Associate duties. Social Media and Content Creation Develop and maintain a consistent social media content calendar. Create and schedule daily content for Facebook and Instagram. Create engaging Stories, Reels, photos, and short-form videos. Create occasional TikTok content when appropriate. Photograph and film pottery, projects, displays, events, and studio experiences. Write clear, engaging captions that reflect the Practically Pikasso voice. Edit photos and short-form videos as needed. Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages or route them to the appropriate team member. Promote upcoming events, seasonal projects, new pottery, workshops, and other studio offerings. Monitor social media engagement and audience growth. Adjust content based on results, studio priorities
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 26.0 - 36.0 per week
