Compensation:
$70,000-$80,000 DOE + up to 10% annual performance bonus
Location:
Anchorage, AK Job Description We are seeking a creative and visionary Art Director to lead the artistic direction of our projects and ensure visual consistency across all platforms. As an Art Director, you will collaborate closely with designers and project managers to conceptualize and execute compelling designs that align with our brand and client goals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and has a passion for leading projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities Develop and oversee the visual style and branding for projects, ensuring alignment with client or organizational objectives. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas that support campaign and project development. Collaborate with fellow designers and creative partners to review work, share feedback, and support one another throughout the design and project process. Collaborate with marketing, content, and development teams to align visuals with messaging strategies. Review and refine design materials to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with creative direction across all outputs. Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into final products. Stay updated on design trends, tools, and techniques to enhance creativity and project efficiency. Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver projects on time and within scope. Requirements Proven experience as an Art Director or in a similar role in a creative or design environment. Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in graphic design, branding, and visual storytelling. Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team. Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred Skills Experience in digital and print media production. Familiarity with web design and UI/UX principles. Experience with video editing, animation, or motion graphics, including familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects, is a plus.
