ABOUT THE POSITION
This is not a "pixel-pusher" role, and it's not a leadership role with people management either. As an Art Director at Agency 29, you'll bridge strategy and execution, concept and craft, big-picture thinking and detailed design. You'll help shape creative output across projects, leading design direction, contributing to brand strategy, and executing high-quality visual work. You'll collaborate closely with our creative team and cross-functional team members, elevating both the work and the people around you. This role is ideal for someone ready to take ownership and grow into a stronger creative leader while staying hands-on. ▶
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Creative Development
  • Concept and execute brand identities, campaigns, and marketing initiatives across print, digital, and web. Translate Strategy into Design
  • Turn brand strategy into clear, compelling visual systems that work across channels. Own Projects End-to-End
  • Take work from concept through final delivery with accountability and attention to detail. Art Direct & Elevate Others
  • Provide thoughtful feedback and direction to design colleagues to ensure strong, cohesive work. Collaborate Across Teams
  • Partner with strategists, champions in client relationships, and leadership to bring ideas to life. Present Your Thinking
  • Confidently articulate and defend creative decisions internally and with clients. Build Systems, Not Just Assets
  • Create scalable, thoughtful design systems (not just one-off executions). Maintain a High Bar
  • Ensure all work meets a high standard for creativity, consistency, accuracy and craft. Proud of Production
  • We're specifically looking for someone who is happy with production-level design execution.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR A

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS 5-7
years of experience in an agency or in-house creative environment Strong portfolio demonstrating brand systems, identity work, and multi-channel design Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) Experience with Figma and a strong knowledge of UI/UX principles Understanding of web design best practices (HTML/CSS familiarity is a plus) Solid knowledge of print production and digital workflows Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment ▶
WHAT WE'D LOVE
(The "Bonus Points" that move your resume to the top of the stack) Photography and/or videography skills are a huge plus Experience with WordPress Motion design or animation experience (After Effects, etc.) Exposure to marketing strategy or campaign development ▶

Salary:
$65,000
