Voices Together is a nonprofit organization that empowers children, teens, and adults with diverse needs through its innovative Voices Music Therapy (VMT™) model. Our innovative, research-based approach empowers individuals to build meaningful communication, strengthen social-emotional growth, and develop self-advocacy, fostering greater independence and well-being.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Creative Director provides strategic and creative leadership for the Voices Together brand, ensuring that the organization's visual identity, storytelling, campaigns, and creative communications consistently reflect its mission and values. This position works collaboratively across Development, the Clinical team, and the Leadership team to translate organizational goals into compelling creative experiences that increase awareness, engagement, donor support, and connection to the Voices Together mission. This position will be a dual role, both creating and implementing the creative direction for the organization. This is an opportunity to develop the marketing and communication strategy for a growing organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with the CEO and Development Team to strategize the organization's positioning and messaging. Develop and maintain the organization's overall creative vision and brand identity. Establish creative direction for campaigns, events, marketing materials, social media, website content, and other communications. Translate organizational goals and messaging into compelling creative concepts. Identify new creative opportunities and trends that could strengthen the brand. Ensure materials are visually appealing, accessible, accurate, and aligned with brand standards. Manage the organization's social media platforms. Design, build, and maintain Voices Together's website. Act as a strategic partner for marketing and communications for the CEO Develop and maintain brand guidelines, templates, and creative resources. Help build and maintain a positive and collaborative creative culture. Works with freelancers, agencies, or contractors when needed; project manages work Work closely with the clinical and development team to create materials that position Voices Together as an expert in the Music Therapy field. Help tell the organization's story through visuals, video, photography, and other media.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Five to eight (5 to 8) years of progressively responsible experience in creative direction, art direction, graphic design, branding, marketing, communications, or related creative field. Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related discipline, with demonstrated professional experience in creative direction, branding, design, and storytelling. Equivalent experiences may be considered. Highly organized and able to creatively problem-solve Outstanding and concise written and verbal communication skills Proven skillset in developing communications strategies to drive organization relevance, differentiation, understanding and engagement Experience multi-tasking and managing multiple projects at once Ability to communicate effectively with management and across departments Excellent written, oral, and organizational skills Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Prior experience in the non-profit setting
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to fifteen (15) pounds at times
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
