- Local Perks Who We Are Hotel Jackson is a boutique luxury hotel on the Town Square in Jackson, Wyoming.
Our mission is simple:
We are here to host. That means anticipating needs, elevating every detail, and delivering impactful memorable moments. The Role We're looking for a Creative Director to own the physical expression of the Hotel Jackson brand and the day-to-day execution behind it. You'll lead on-property creative operations across the hotel, The Spa at Hotel Jackson, and our dining outlets — protecting brand identity, managing guest-facing collateral, coordinating creative vendors, and driving projects from concept through production and implementation. This role exists at the intersection of creative judgment and operational discipline. The Director of Marketing sets strategy, budgets, and digital direction. You make sure everything the guest sees and touches on property is polished, on-brand, and exactly right. You're the one who catches the typo before it goes to print, keeps the asset library current, and makes sure a new menu is in the hands of the restaurant team when they need it. We're looking for someone with a genuine luxury sensibility, strong project management instincts, and the ability to translate operational department needs into creative deliverables without losing quality or missing a deadline. What You'll Own Brand Identity and Standards Brand guardianship: manage and protect Hotel Jackson's brand identity across every guest-facing touchpoint — the hotel, spa, restaurants, events, and all collateral. When something is off-brand, you catch it and correct it.Property audits:
conduct regular walk-throughs of the property to ensure all guest-facing materials are current, accurate, well-presented, and aligned with brand standards. Nothing outdated, nothing inconsistent, nothing that doesn't belong.Asset library management:
maintain organized, current libraries of logos, photography, templates, menus, brand guidelines, and production files so that every creative partner and internal team is always working from the right files. On-Property Collateral and Production Collateral ownership: own the creation, updating, and production of all on-property guest-facing materials — menus, in-room materials, spa collateral, signage, wayfinding, promotions, invitations, event materials, and anything a guest touches or reads on property.Project management:
manage every creative project from initial request through final production or installation — developing briefs, managing proofs, coordinating revisions and approvals, and holding production schedules and deadlines without exception.Menu and seasonal updates:
coordinate menu changes, seasonal refreshes, and promotional materials with Food & Beverage and Spa leadership so that updated materials are always ready when the operation needs them. Vendor and Partner Management Creative vendor relationships: manage printers, designers, photographers, videographers, freelancers, sign vendors, and all other creative partners — briefing them correctly, reviewing their work against the Hotel Jackson standard, and holding them to deadlines and quality expectations.Production coordination:
oversee the full production process for printed and physical materials, from file preparation through delivery and installation, ensuring nothing arrives late, off-spec, or below standard. Departmental Support and Campaign Execution Internal creative partner: serve as the primary marketing contact for hotel operational departments — F&B, Spa, Front Office, Events, and Sales — translating their needs into polished, on-brand deliverables and managing the daily flow of on-property creative requests.Campaign support:
support the execution of campaigns and initiatives established by the Director of Marketing, handling the on-property production and implementation that brings those strategies to life. What We're Looking For Experience in creative direction, brand management, graphic design, hospitality marketing, luxury or lifestyle branding, or a related field. Strong visual judgment — you understand typography, layout, photography, and brand systems and can identify when something is off even if you can't immediately articulate why. Excellent project management, organizational skills, and attention to detail; you manage multiple concurrent deadlines without losing accuracy or quality. Experience managing freelancers, vendors, and print production processes. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or comparable creative tools; ability to produce and prepare files for production independently. Strong proofreading skills — you catch the error before it goes to print. Luxury hospitality, restaurant, spa, travel, or lifestyle brand experience strongly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to brief creative partners clearly and collaborate effectively with operational departments. Who Thrives Here This role is a fit for someone who takes genuine pride in the physical craft of brand expression — in a menu that's set perfectly, a piece of signage that belongs in the space, a welcome card that actually sounds like Hotel Jackson. You're not building campaigns here; you're making sure every execution is right, every time. If that kind of ownership energizes you, this is the role. You'll thrive if you: Take ownership of the brand standard without being told — when something is off, you fix it before anyone asks.Manage creative projects with discipline:
briefs are clear, timelines are held, and nothing ships with an error. Build productive relationships with vendors and departments alike — people enjoy working with you and trust you to deliver. Balance creative quality and operational speed without sacrificing either. Thrive in a small, high-trust environment where your work is visible in every corner of the property. This may not be the right fit if you: Are primarily a strategist or campaign builder rather than a hands-on execution and production manager. Struggle to manage multiple concurrent projects and vendor relationships without losing accuracy or deadlines. Are not comfortable working closely with operational departments and translating their needs into creative deliverables. Prefer a role with more autonomy over brand direction rather than one that operates within an established brand system. Compensation & Benefits We know Jackson is one of the most expensive places to live in the country. We've built this package to make it work. $70,000-$80,000 annually, commensurate with experience Medical benefits with employer contribution 401(k) with company match PTO + floating holiday comp days Subsidized employee housing (based on availability) Ski pass + select local perks Employee discounts at the restaurant/bar, and retail outlets How to Apply We review applications seriously, and we ask a few focused questions up front. Please include responses to the following with your application — submissions without them will not be considered. 1. Experience Tell us about your background in creative direction, brand management, or hospitality marketing — the type of brand, your scope of responsibility, and what you were most accountable for producing. 2. Brand Standards Tell us about a time you caught or corrected a brand inconsistency on property or in production. Vendor Management Tell us about a vendor or freelancer relationship you managed. How did you brief them, hold them accountable, and ensure the final product met your standard? 5.
