Job Description
The Yard Gym is a high-performance, community-driven training space rooted in energy, professionalism, and precision. As we prepare to open our first Westside location, we're hiring front of house team members who can help us deliver a seamless, elevated experience from check-in to cooldown. This isn't your average desk job - you'll be the first face members see, the last one they talk to on the way out, and a key player in our community culture. Key Responsibilities Member Experience & Operations Greet and check in members using Mindbody or similar POS system Support member retention and acquisition strategies through strong relationship-building Be present, personable, and proactive during all open hours Handle daily towel service (laundry, folding, distribution) Keep facility clean, organized, and camera-ready at all times (floors, mirrors, equipment, etc.) Class Support Assist with setting up or resetting the space between classes Help manage class flow, door traffic, and transitions when needed Participate in light coaching/demo support if qualified (not required but a plus) Media & Community Capture photo and video content during class sessions for social and marketing use Flag standout moments for social media or internal use (trainer performance, new PRs, community wins) Be a bridge between members and coaches, creating rapport and community energy Facility Oversight Perform daily facility inspections (lights, AC, speakers, equipment readiness) Complete inventory checks and flag when restocks or repairs are needed Maintain a sharp eye for any facility issues — report and resolve them promptly What We're Looking For Punctual, reliable, and comfortable managing a fast-paced environment Strong communicator who can multi-task with confidence Familiar with fitness studios, boutique gyms, or hospitality-driven spaces
Tech-literate:
knows or can quickly learn Mindbody, Slack, Google Drive, etc.Bonus:
Basic understanding of strength and conditioning or fitness class flow Schedule Expectations Must be available for early morning and/or evening shifts, plus occasional weekends This is an in-person role with potential to grow into community management or operations over timeTo Apply:
