Ambassador (Part-Time) Golden State - 3.8 San Francisco, CA Job Details Part-time $23.34 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication High school diploma or GED Full Job Description About the Position We are looking for upbeat and dedicated Ambassadors to help us establish a world-class, guest- centric environment for all Golden State Warriors, Golden State Valkyries games, and Chase Center concerts and events. This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise while learning more about this growing sports and entertainment organization that values your initiative and dedication! This is a part-time position located on-site in San Francisco, CA. Key Responsibilities Greet guests as they approach Chase Center to provide direction and support before entering the venue Monitor entrances and welcome guests into the arena while assisting with line control and wayfinding Assist guests as needed (e.g., wheelchair, walkers, escorts, etc.), including vertical transportation requests and directional guidance Maintain a steady movement of guests through entry points while serving a diverse clientele Support set-up and breakdown during Warriors and Valkyries game nights and events, including promotional theme nights, giveaways, etc. Support guests at the guest service kiosk to help troubleshoot situations and help resolve concerns Provide information to guests that will enhance their overall experience Serve as a source of information and FAQs for Chase Center guests; provide proactive solutions Work Thrive City & off-site Golden State Warriors and Valkyries events as needed Ability to monitor and respond to communications via radio or other assigned communication devices effectively, particularly during high-traffic periods or emergencies. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Excellent and engaging interpersonal skills High energy, strong detail orientation, and superior work ethic Ability to remain professional and courteous in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment, including during emergencies Ability to adhere to proper uniform and grooming standards as defined by Chase Center management Reliable form of transportation Ability to work independently or collaboratively with others Familiarity and comfort level with current technology, including ticket scanners, tablets, time clocks, etc. Ability to work Thrive City & off-site Golden State events as needed; may be responsible for supporting the setup and breakdown of these events Physical Demands Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 30 lbs. Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time up to or beyond 6 hours
Note:
This position may require you to sit or stand in an enclosed space (i.e., an elevator) and travel on upper and lower levels multiple times during your shift
Time Commitment Event Minimum:
Maintain availability for at least 60% of all year-round events held at Chase Center to include regular-season home games for both the Golden State Warriors (NBA) and Golden State Valkyries (WNBA), including potential post-season assignments.
Flexible Commitment:
Ability to work a non-traditional schedule—including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays—aligned with the year-round Chase Center event calendar
Shift Duration:
Shifts typically range from 5 to 7 hours, depending on the event type; for example, standard game nights are generally 5:00 PM - 10:30
PM Variable Hours:
Weekly schedules fluctuate based on event volume and department needs. While consistent availability is required, part-time status does not guarantee a scheduled shift for every individual event
Auxiliary & Off-site Event Support:
Serve as a representative for the Golden State Warriors, Golden State Valkyries, or Thrive City at off-site activations as assigned; staffing for these events is based on individual availability and departmental needs, and may require specialized uniforms, unique timing, and physical support for event setup and breakdown Education & Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience in customer service, hospitality, travel, tourism, or attractions is preferred Compensation $23.34 per hour Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
