JOB The Library, Arts, History and CSU Extension department has an opening for a bilingual (Spanish/English) 29-hour part-time benefited inventHQ Makerspace Associate. We are seeking a high performing, innovative, and team-focused individual who has a passion for learning, creating, and collaborating. This position works 29 hours per week Tuesday through
Saturday:
Tu/Th 12:30
  • 7:30 p.m.; Fr/Sa 8:45 a.m.
  • 5:15 p.m. Some additional evening hours may be required. The hiring range is $24.47
  • $33.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this position you will help children and adults use makerspace tools, equipment and software during drop-in public Open Hours. You will greet new patrons and give them a tour of the space, chat with them about projects they would like to make, help them safely use tools, and connect them to learning resources. Outside of drop-in Open Hours, you may help with machine maintenance, staffing programs and preparing materials for them, working with volunteers, editing and testing tutorials and performing other administrative duties.
