Job Description

Senior Event ProducerJob Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Event Producer to oversee the production and execution of high-end events from the décor and design side. This is not an event planning position. The Senior Event Producer takes an approved creative concept and turns it into an executable event production plan. This role works closely with the Creative Director and Sales team to coordinate all operational elements required to successfully produce each event, including décor, rentals, inventory, staffing, transportation, installation, and strike. The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, confident leading teams, and experienced in the behind-the-scenes production required to bring complex event designs to life. Responsibilities Own assigned events from internal handoff through production, installation, and strike. Translate approved designs and proposals into detailed production plans. Develop production timelines, load-in schedules, installation plans, and strike plans. Review event scope for staffing, inventory, rentals, transportation, equipment, and logistical requirements. Partner with the Creative Director to ensure the final installation accurately reflects the creative vision. Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure sold scope and specifications are accurately translated into production. Identify potential production challenges, scope gaps, or logistical issues before the event. Coordinate rental orders, specialty items, fabrication needs, and outside production vendors. Confirm quantities, specifications, delivery schedules, and pickup requirements. Coordinate venue access, loading requirements, installation restrictions, and other production logistics. Lead on-site load-in, installation, and strike for assigned events. Direct production staff, installers, drivers, freelancers, and other event personnel. Troubleshoot production challenges and make timely decisions in the field. Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure installations meet design and quality standards. Ensure event materials and inventory are properly returned and accounted for following strike. Help improve production systems, workflows, and operational efficiencies. Qualifications 4+ years of experience in event production, event décor, experiential production, floral/event design production, or a related field (required) Experience using softwares such as Details, Baseacamp, and Dubsado (Preferred) Demonstrated experience managing event installations, load-ins, and strikes. Strong understanding of event logistics, rentals, staffing, transportation, and venue coordination. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously. Strong leadership and communication skills. Comfortable directing teams in fast-paced event environments. Ability to interpret proposals, floor plans, design presentations, rental orders, and production documents. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly when conditions change. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned events. Availability to work evenings and weekends based on the event schedule. Ability to travel locally to event venues and production locations as required. What This Position Is The Senior Event Producer is the operational owner of the décor production for an event . The Creative Director establishes the visual direction, and the Sales team establishes the sold scope. The Senior Event Producer determines how that vision will actually be executed . You will ensure the right décor, rentals, inventory, equipment, vehicles, staffing, timelines, and installation plans are in place to successfully execute each event. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys the operational and logistical side of events and takes pride in turning ambitious creative concepts into reality. This is not a wedding or event planning/coordination role and requires very little guest management. What Success Looks Like Successful Senior Event Producers consistently deliver events that: Accurately reflect the approved creative vision and sold scope. Are thoroughly prepared before load-out. Have appropriate staffing, inventory, equipment, and transportation. Install efficiently and on schedule. Minimize last-minute issues and unnecessary expenses. Maintain exceptional quality and attention to detail. Stay within established labor and production expectations. Strike efficiently and return inventory in an organized manner.
