Job Description

Summary The Normal CornBelters (NCB), a summer wood-bat collegiate baseball team, are members of the Prospect League. The CornBelters are operated by Normal CornBelters Baseball, LLC. Normal CornBelters Baseball also operates the Kernels Collegiate League (KCL), a wood-bat collegiate league, which plays a 30-game league solely at the Corn Crib in Normal. The Normal CornBelters, Kernels Collegiate League, and the Corn Crib are looking for Stadium Operations Interns to join their team for the spring 2027 semester. 2027 Internship Roles Facility Operations Stadium maintenance and upkeep Implementing stadium improvement projects Special Event Staff Stadium Rental Outreach Duties and Responsibilities Report to the Director of Facilities for all stadium operations functions Assure the ballpark is a safe area for all guests in attendance. Work on offseason stadium improvement projects. Participate in de-winterization for the facility. Set up and breakdown of The Corn Crib before and after games or events. Outreach trying to acquire future stadium rentals. Work with front office staff and other game day staff on maintaining the ballpark and/or other duties associated with the logistics of all home games and events. Participate as a team member through meetings and offer support to other team members to maximize customer service, retention efforts, and overall customer satisfaction.

Friday, April 30th Compensation This is an unpaid position. Interns are eligible to earn college credit, as well as consideration for future placement in part-time and full-time positions with the CornBelters and/or affiliate organizations.
