Festival Theater Flip CrewTemporary Part-Time Assignment at Alamo Drafthouse Indy Lights. Camera. Clean-up. The Heartland Film Festiva l is taking over Alamo Drafthouse Indy from October 8 through October 18 , and we are assembling a high-energy crew to keep the theaters clean, stocked, and ready for every screening, private event, and festival guest. This is a great opportunity to earn extra money while being part of Indianapolis' most exciting film events. You will be surrounded by up-and-coming movies, filmmakers, actors, directors, and serious movie lovers. You might even meet a few people before they become famous. (Please remain cool. No stalking.) The work itself is not glamorous, but the experience and perks definitely are. Your Role in the Production As a member of our Festival Theater Flip Crew, you will move quickly between screenings to reset theaters and prepare spaces for the next audience. Think of it as a fast-paced busser position with a cinematic twist.
Your duties will include:
Removing trash and clearing theaters between screenings Washing and sanitizing tables and seats Sweeping and cleaning theater areas Cleaning, restocking, and checking restrooms throughout each shift Walking the parking lot and exterior areas to collect trash Helping set up private festival events Cleaning and resetting event spaces after the credits roll Supporting events in the VIP Theater, patio, and Hot Rod Lounge Jumping in wherever needed to keep the festival running smoothly This Role Moves Fast Festival screenings run on a schedule, which means theater flips must happen quickly. This is an active, physical job for someone who can hustle without sacrificing cleanliness or attention to detail.
You must be able to:
Move quickly for extended periods Walk long distances throughout a shift Frequently climb multiple stairs Bend, stoop, reach, lift, wipe, and carry Repeatedly lift and move up to 25 pounds Work efficiently as part of a team Maintain a positive attitude when the theater is busy Follow cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures If you prefer a quiet desk and a slow pace, this is probably not your scene. If you like high energy, teamwork, movies, and getting things done, we want to meet you. Please Read the Fine Print Before "Auditioning". This is a temporary, part-time festival assignment lasting up to 11 days during the Heartland Film Festival, October 8 through October 18 . Selected team members must also be available for one or two training days before the festival begins . Hours and shifts will be scheduled according to festival needs and will include evenings and weekends. This position is specifically for festival coverage. Team members who deliver an award-worthy performance may be considered for future regular part-time opportunities at Alamo Drafthouse Indy. Continued employment is not guaranteed. Why Join the Crew?
