Trivia Central Kansas is a business division of Trivia & Game Shows Kansas and Beach Bum Events & Travel LLC located In Wichita, Kansas. We may sound biased, but we are pretty sure that we are the coolest trivia company to work for, ever. We're changing the face of weekly bar and restaurant entertainment here in Kansas and Beyond. • Let's get the bad news out of the way first: The pay kinda sucks. Meaning, you won't get rich at this job. After training, we'll start you off around $25/hr., which sounds kinda good until you realize you only work about two hours a night. We may have the ability to offer you up to 5 recurring nights a week (Sunday
• Thursday), but that's still just some extra spending money. However, if you were looking to support your family, this just went from the "coolest" part-time job ever to the "suckiest" part-time job ever. You may have to deal with know-it-all drunks. The creepy kind, too. Uhh... Review and be cool with the previous two points.
• Now let's talk about the good stuff: We're going to pay you between $50
• 60/night for about 2 hours of work hosting trivia or music Bingo.

Some of our great partner restaurants treat the host to a comped meal or employee discount (WIN!!!!) The work is fun, fresh, and dynamic. You will be hosting Trivia and music Bingo under one of the most respected and established brands: DJ Trivia and DJ Bingo! Huge [Yuge!] opportunity for higher pay when hosting Weekend Nights DJ Bingo or Private Events! (DJ Trivia Games are traditionally Monday

• Thursdays and occasionally Sundays) We aren't big on stress.

So, while we expect you to keep inside the guidelines of the DJ Trivia game and brand, you're the host and will have the flexibility to do what it takes to build your adoring player and team base. We pretty much supply everything you need: Laptop, microphone, cables, games, and... You get a nifty DJ Trivia staff t-shirt to sport while hosting! You don't need to be skilled at roller skating or laser tag or bowling or escaping a room or dressing up and dancing to the WOBBLE or Dancing Queen, but you could end up doing all of those things. Every few months we try to do something fun or goofy or both as a team. Now, let's talk about job requirements: You need to be the type person who gets joy out of channeling your inner Alex Trebek. Every game, you will bang out twenty questions. Fun questions. Important questions. Necessary questions. Without questions, we don't have a game. (It's easy, we supply you with the questions!) You will be on the computer a lot. In addition to our game being run on a Windows 10 or 11 laptop, we may give you responsibility for posting end of game photos and promotions to our Instagram (@djtriviacentralkansas) and Facebook (DJ Trivia & DJ Bingo Central Kansas) feeds. You need to be a person who loves to deliver remarkable experiences to other people. You know, you need to be someone who feels good by making other people feel good. You could be the life of the party. You could also be kinda shy and quiet. But we're going to put you on a microphone and project you through a speaker system, so you better be confident in hearing your voice. We may occasionally swear behind the scenes (not too much, but sometimes a joke is only funny with an F-bomb), but you'll need to be family friendly when on the microphone. You must be 18 or older to apply, and some of our locations are 21 and over. What we don't expect is perfection or existing skills for you to qualify for this job. We can teach you that. We expect integrity, intelligence, energy, and a get it done customer-focused attitude.
