Positions are typically administrative or technical in nature and may involve the application of moderate skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities will typically involve more work variety, technical competence, and a moderate degree of independent judgment and responsibility for tasks such as drafting correspondence, preparing reports or spreadsheets, and conducting basic research, etc. This position requires a moderate level of contact with internal and external customers. The ability to work as a team member is necessary. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Other Duties and Responsibilities Helps behind the scenes in bringing broadcasts to life. Roles on game days include running cameras, putting together our in game graphics, running our official replay, etc. Researches and writes interesting stories before the game to create a few :30 - 1:00 that they can then talk about on air during the game. Acts as eyes and ears on field level should any interesting stories arise midgame. Potentially be an on camera presence in a sideline reporter role. Minimum Requirements Must be a current MSU student Must maintain satisfactory academic progress Must feel comfortable performing tasks that are not routine, but rather are more complex in nature Must have the ability to understand and to follow written and verbal instructions Must be able to work somewhat independently, utilizing initiative and a moderate level of judgment, analytical and/or decision-making skills Must be able to operate a variety of office equipment such as copier, telephone, etc. Additional Desirable Qualifications Dedicated and motivated Open and willing to learn Physical Requirements Working Conditions
