DJ / MC Weddings & Events

Wizer Productions is seeking an energetic, confident, and personable DJ & MC to join our team and help create unforgettable event experiences across the DMV area. From weddings to private celebrations and corporate events, our DJs are at the center of the energy—guiding the flow, reading the room, and creating moments people remember long after the night ends. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely loves music, enjoys connecting with people, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, we provide training and support to help you grow into the role. It is a requirement that our DJs invest in their own equipment. What You'll Do Curate and mix music that matches the energy and style of each event Serve as the MC—making announcements and guiding the event timeline seamlessly Create an engaging, welcoming atmosphere for guests from start to finish Set up, operate, and break down DJ equipment (speakers, mixers, microphones) Collaborate with our team to execute each client's vision Take song requests while maintaining the flow of the event Safely transport and handle equipment (up to 75 lbs) Represent Wizer Productions with professionalism and strong presence What We're Looking For A natural sense of energy, timing, and crowd awareness Confidence speaking in front of groups and leading a room Passion for music, events, and creating experiences Availability for evenings and weekends Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to lift and move equipment up to 75 lbs Dependable, coachable, and team-oriented DJ or MC experience is a plus, but not required What You'll Gain Hands-on training and ongoing support Opportunities to work a wide range of events A collaborative, supportive team environment Growth within a creative and fast-moving company Additional Details DJs are required to invest in their own DJ equipment
