Essential Job Duties:
1. Efficient and safe set up, maintenance, and break down of events equipment to include staging, seating, tents, sound equipment, lighting, etc. as required/assigned. 2. Maintenance and cleaning of restrooms and other locations related to events as assigned. 3. Provides support to Group Sales, Catering & Conference Services, Entertainment and Event Programming, et.al. related to event logistics. 4. General warehouse work such as organizing, loading/unloading trucks, cleaning and repairing equipment, etc. 5. Driving a company vehicle, able to complete smaller task and/or orders with minimal supervision.Requirements:
1. High school diploma preferred. 2. At least one (1) year of prior experience working with event set up and logistics preferred. 3. Demonstrated commitment to providing world class internal/external guest service. 4. Solid interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; must be able to convey information clearly and concisely. 5. Excellent attention to detail with focus on quality and service. 6. Strong time management and organizational skills; can multi-task and adapt as required. 7. Ability to take direction and understand and execute instructions successfully. 8. Proactive, and exercises good judgment; can troubleshoot as needed. 9. Can operate effectively in an intense and dynamic guest service environment, and respond/interact with guests and vendors in a manner consistent with Biltmore standards.Physical Requirements:
1. Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds on a regular basis with assistance. 2. Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time. 3. Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and/or scaffolding. 4. Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat/kneel. 5. Must have a valid NC Driver's License with clean driving record & be at least 18 years of age.Benefits
