We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Disc Jockey (DJ) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and entertainment, along with the ability to create an enjoyable atmosphere for guests at various events. As a DJ, you will be responsible for mixing music, entertaining guests, and ensuring a memorable experience through your performance. Responsibilities Curate and mix music playlists tailored to the event type and audience preferences. Engage with the audience through public speaking, announcements, and interactive activities. Set up and operate sound equipment, ensuring optimal audio quality throughout the event. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests and maintaining a positive atmosphere. Collaborate with event planners to understand specific requirements and themes for each event. Perform heavy lifting as needed when setting up equipment or moving supplies. Promote events through marketing efforts, including social media engagement and networking within the community. Stay current with music trends and new releases to keep playlists fresh and exciting. Requirements Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences. Experience in public speaking to confidently engage guests during events. Excellent customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction. Reliable transportation to various event locations. Knowledge of music genres and trends; experience in dancing is a plus. Ability to read the crowd and adapt music selection accordingly Ability to perform heavy lifting when setting up sound equipment or staging areas.
