Reports To:

Mascot Coordinator Summary:

Mascots are responsible for performing as one of the six Omaha Storm Chasers mascots during Storm Chasers home games, special events, and/or community appearances.

Responsibilities:

Interact with fans and welcome them as they enter the ballpark gates Participate in various promotions throughout the game and on the field. Distribute Omaha Storm Chasers promotional items (mascot cards, pocket schedules, etc.) to help increase team and brand awareness Interact with all fans at games, events, and appearances

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Must be willing to submit to a background screen; any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background screen Auditions for this position will be required Ability to improvise and interact with fans (adults and children) as well as other staff members Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; work with a sense of urgency Ability to follow oral and written instructions Ability to work outside in all weather conditions including; cold, wind, rain and heat Must be comfortable working in a costume in front of large crowds We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
