WHAT AWAITS YOU

Operations & System Availability You ensure the smooth operation of our video-on-demand, TV, and broadcast systems on board You monitor the quality and availability of all TV channels You ensure that channel lists and program data are always up-to-date and functional You are the central contact person for the background music system of the fleet Incident & Problem Management You coordinate error analyses and resolutions together with IT, technical teams, and external partners You document and track disruptions, maintenance, and updates Content & License Management You integrate and manage VoD and TV content while considering licensing rights You keep track of license durations and regional restrictions You assist with new content license agreements You plan content updates and technical rollouts Platform & System Development You contribute to the further development of our entertainment platforms You support the integration of new technologies such as streaming apps or second-screen solutions You accompany the introduction of new systems on new builds and modernized ships Monitoring, Reporting & Optimization You analyze usage data and guest feedback You derive and implement optimization potentials You create reports on system performance and quality You are the interface between different departments and external partners You assist with budget issues and take over invoice verification You develop and optimize processes and workflows

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Training or degree in media technology, broadcasting, IT/network technology, audiovisual media, or comparable Experience with IPTV, VoD, broadcast, or streaming systems is desirable, as well as knowledge in streaming technologies, network infrastructure, video encoding, satellite or IPTV distribution Experience with entertainment systems in hotels, airplanes, or cruise ships is an advantage Reliable, structured personality with very good organizational skills, even under time or performance pressure Confident demeanor and good interpersonal skills combined with assertiveness Strong coordination and communication skills as well as a service-oriented working style Technical understanding and analytical problem-solving skills Initiative, organizational talent, excellent comprehension skills, and high resilience Very good knowledge of MS Office as well as excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken Practical experience in ship operations is desirable
