Part-Time Promotional & Programming Assistant Position Summary The Part-Time Promotional & Programming Assistant's primary responsibility is to support the Promotions and Programming departments with daily operational, production, and administrative needs. The position requires strong organization, reliability, attention to detail, and professional communication skills.
Promotions / Programming
- Duties & Responsibilities Board Operations management, oversee and manage board operations to ensure scheduled programming and broadcast run smoothly and accurately. Provide support and assist with setup for live remote broadcasts, including equipment preparation and troubleshooting as needed. Provide traffic reports for both Radio and Television broadcasts as assigned. Provide occasional front desk coverage and assistance as needed. Assist with additional duties, projects, and tasks as requested by the Promotions and Programming departments. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree preferred. Previous administrative, office, radio, production, or board-operation experience preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently while also being a team player. Radio board-operation or talk-radio experience is strongly preferred. Fluent Spanish is preferred. Work Environment This is a part-time position based in the Lotus Radio Corp office in Reno, Nevada. The position may require occasional work outside of regular scheduled hours for station events, remote broadcasts, or programming needs.
