Job Description

The Syracuse Crunch are looking for a high-energy In-Arena Emcee to serve as the main personality for home games. The In-Arena Emcee will execute live promotions and is responsible for delivering in-game content including section-specific promotions and intermission activities as a means of fulfilling sponsorship & entertainment requirements. The successful candidate will be required to execute the majority of in-game content. Host and execute in-game content as outlined by Game Operations staff Engage fans to participate in contesting and live promotions Provide an entertaining and exciting voice to the Syracuse Crunch and work alongside a PA Announcer All other duties as assigned The ideal candidate will have the following background: Prior experience with public speaking and performing in a hosting role Working knowledge of the Syracuse Crunch, the AHL and the game of hockey Strong interpersonal and public speaking ability Strong, clear vocal ability Must be comfortable performing in front of large crowds and in front of a camera Ability to improvise and quickly respond to last minute requests Schedule flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts Background in performing arts, broadcasting and acting is preferred This position reports to the Senior Director of Game Operations and Creative Services.
