We're looking for someone who is passionate about music, creates an exciting guest experience, and understands the importance of making each couple's wedding day feel personal and memorable. This role requires strong organization and communication skills, a professional presence, and a willingness to train, receive feedback, and continue growing. Evening and weekend availability is required. Responsibilities Provide professional DJ and MC services for weddings, keeping guests engaged and events running smoothly. Conduct two planning meetings with each couple to understand their vision, review music preferences, and finalize reception details. Prepare music, playlists, and key announcements before each event, following the couple's must-play and do-not-play lists. Communicate clearly and promptly with couples, our team, venues, and other wedding vendors. Coordinate with vendors to follow the event timeline and adapt to changes as needed. Read the room and mix music that creates an engaging dance floor for a variety of ages and musical tastes. Arrive on time, professionally dressed, and prepared for setup, sound checks, and event coverage. Participate in training and apply feedback to strengthen DJ, MC, and client service skills. Qualifications DJ experience and confidence using professional DJ equipment and software. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and comfort speaking on a microphone. A dependable, professional, and client-focused approach. Willingness to train, learn our standards, and grow as a DJ and MC. Ability to remain calm, solve problems, and adapt in a live event environment. Must have a reliable laptop and professional DJ controller. Availability for planning meetings and evening and weekend weddings. Previous wedding DJ or MC experience is preferred.
