Job Description
Bach To Rock ("B2R") America's Music School for students of all ages is currently seeking a DJ and/or Music Production Instructor to work as a part-time employee providing private, semi-private, and group lessons for DJ Mixing, Scratching, Beat Making and/or Music Production to students of all ages. DJ Instructors at Bach to Rock embrace a philosophy of well-balanced music education to inspire students to perform the music they love at local venues. As Music Production Teachers, they develop musicians that enjoy creating original, high quality work. Essential Responsibilities Deliver instruction in mixing and scratching on turntables using Bach to Rock's proprietary curriculum and specific methodology Deliver instruction in music production using Bach to Rock's proprietary curriculum and Ableton Live Manage classroom time effectively to balance student needs and attention Adapt to DJ or Music Production students interested in diverse styles (eg: hip hop, pop, rock, house, oldies) Coach DJ students for live performances Provide administrative support, as needed, such as Move, set up, and break down equipment at the school and events Perform basic repair of minor school equipment Assist with equipment inventory
