The Texas Legends , the NBA G League affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks, are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Game Day Assistant to help fulfill group experiences and birthday parties during home games. This role will help coordinate and execute game-day elements for performance groups, group ticket buyers, birthday parties, and their guests while providing excellent customer service and ensuring each group has a smooth, organized, and memorable experience.

Responsibilities Guest Greeting & Hosting:

Greet and welcome birthday parties and large groups upon arrival at the venue, serving as their main point of contact.

Coordination:

Partner with the Group Sales team to gather schedules and special requests for all nightly group experiences.

Asset Activation:

Assist in organizing and executing on-court or in-game experiences, including fan tunnels, halftime performances, national anthem lineups, and locker room tours.

Setup & Logistics:

Set up designated party and group areas with decorations, seating arrangements, signage, and any additional amenities.

Item Distribution:

Facilitate the distribution of party favors, group tickets, promotional items, and giveaways to attendees.

Customer Service:

Engage with parents, group leaders, and guardians to address special needs, resolve issues, and ensure a positive overall experience.

Safety & Feedback:

Monitor and ensure a safe, orderly environment for all group attendees, while providing feedback to management for process improvement. Qualifications Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and sharp attention to detail, especially when managing multiple group schedules at once. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic sports environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Customer-focused mindset and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on the game schedule. Previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, customer service, or sports entertainment is a plus. Knowledge of basketball and familiarity with the Texas Legends team is preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry moderate weights for setting up decorations, tables, and group assets. Mobility to stand, walk, and navigate the arena quickly while escorting large groups to various locations.
