Join our Texas Tech event team and work right in the middle of the energy, excitement, and atmosphere of the 2026-2027 football season! As a Stadium Vendor, you'll interact with fans, keep the game-day experience moving, and help deliver great service in one of the most exciting environments around. Depending on the event, you may work a portable stand or sell directly to fans as a walking vendor. This is a fast-paced, high-energy role where no two game days are exactly the same. Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Sales Provide fast, friendly, and professional service Interact with guests in high-volume environments Process transactions accurately Maintain a positive guest experience in short interactions Operations & Teamwork Follow event schedules and operational procedures Communicate with supervisors regarding timing and needs Maintain assigned service areas Support team members as needed Adapt to changing assignments and guest volume Technology Operate POS and handheld devices Handle cash and electronic payments responsibly

Physical & Job Requirements:

This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to: General Requirements Stand and walk for long periods Move quickly through crowded spaces Work in indoor and outdoor environments Bend, reach, and lift frequently Perform well under time pressure Portable Stand Vendors Bend at the waist for extended periods (up to 90% of shift) Work with hands in ice water for extended periods Lift and carry up to 40 pounds Walking Vendors Carry and transport 3-6 cases of beverages Lift and carry up to 40 pounds, including bags of ice Navigate stairs, aisles, and ramps safely Maintain balance while moving through crowds Qualifications Ability to read and follow instructions Strong communication skills Ability to work quickly and accurately Basic comfort with technology Willingness to adapt to changing environments Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service (if applicable) Schedule & Availability Event-based scheduling Evenings, weekends, and holidays required Shift length varies by event

Compensation:

This position pays an hourly rate in accordance with Texa state minimum wage requirements, plus tips . Walking Vendors have the opportunity to earn additional income through: Tips received directly from guests Commission based on individual sales performance Total earnings will vary based on event volume and individual sales performance. While additional earnings are not guaranteed, high-performing vendors may earn more than the base hourly rate. Why Join Us?
