Job:
Must be able to do work in all Public Works Departments as needed; Maintain City parks: mow, prune trees, pick up trash and operate small landscaping equipment; read water meters and accurately record consumption of water; change meters and perform preventive maintenance on water meters. Make water cut ons and offs, reread meters, handle complaints, take water samples. Diagnose and repair problems with gas, diesel and hydraulic fleet equipment, both heavy and light. Operate all types of heavy equipment to clean, repair, and maintain roads, bridges, and right of way; perform a variety of duties associated with street repair and maintenance.
