06/17/2026 Position Announcement The Event Services intern will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of small-to-major scale events on the Utah Tech Campus. Interns will gain experience in planning events such as banquets, galas, productions, conferences, luncheons, and more. They will also have the opportunity to work with Utah Tech faculty, staff, and local community members. Responsibilities Field Incoming event requests and work with central scheduling to assess viability Keep project up to date in project management system Event Coordination with various required campus departments Liaise with clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction as needed Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day Unlock doors and be Utah Tech representative on site as needed Qualifications Strong organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills Problem solving abilities Ability to remain calm under pressure Ability to work with a team A positive attitude and proactive work ethic Flexible Schedule Supplemental Information
POSITION DETAILS, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Part-time hourly staff (overtime-eligible) position, working a flexible schedule, as needed.
