We are looking for a talented and licensed Drone Operator to capture high-quality aerial footage for our diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating drones for commercial purposes, a keen eye for visual storytelling, and the ability to work collaboratively with our creative team. This role requires a thorough understanding of FAA regulations and the ability to operate drones safely in various environments.Key Responsibilities:
Aerial Footage Capture:
Operate drones to capture high-quality aerial footage for video projects, including real estate, events, promotional videos, and more.Safety Compliance:
Ensure all drone operations are conducted in compliance with FAA regulations and local laws, prioritizing safety at all times.Pre-Flight and Post-Flight Inspections:
Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections of drone equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.Collaboration:
Work closely with the creative and production teams to plan and execute aerial shots that align with project goals and creative vision.Footage Review:
Review and select the best footage for editing, ensuring that all shots meet the required standards of quality and creativity.Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on drone equipment to ensure longevity and optimal performance.Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all flight operations, including flight logs, maintenance records, and any incident reports.Client Interaction:
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and ensure that their expectations are met through aerial footage.Requirements:
FAA Part 107Certification:
Must possess a valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.Experience:
Proven experience as a drone operator, with a strong portfolio of past projects showcasing your aerial footage.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in operating various drone models and familiarity with flight planning software and post-production editing tools.Knowledge:
Strong understanding of FAA regulations, airspace classifications, and safety protocols. Attention toDetail:
Keen eye for detail and composition, with the ability to capture visually compelling footage.Communication:
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.Flexibility:
