Job Description

Drone Pilot / Operator (part-time) Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Drone Pilot / Operator to join our team. You will conduct aerial roof inspections using drone technology to assess property damage, support insurance claims documentation, and enhance our project assessment capabilities. This is a critical role in modernizing how we evaluate and document roofing inspections. Key Responsibilities Conduct aerial roof inspections using drone technology Capture high-quality photos and video footage for damage assessment and documentation Maintain detailed flight logs and inspection records Upload inspection photos and relevant data into AccuLynx CRM following company protocols and timelines Collaborate with project managers to provide accurate damage assessments Operate and maintain drone equipment in good working condition Contribute to continuous improvement of inspection processes and technology utilization Required Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours including weekends during storm seasons is required Preferred Qualifications FAA Part 107 certification required or employer-sponsored within 90 days of hire Prior drone operation or aerial photography experience
