Drone Visual Observers Edko - 2.7 Corpus Christi, TX Job Details Seasonal 23 hours ago Benefits Fuel card Qualifications Outdoor work experience Radio communication systems Map reading Driver's License Full Job Description Edko, LLC is seeking visual observer (VO) candidates to aid our Pilot staff in UAV/drone operations. A background in forestry, arboriculture, experience with UAVs or a related field is beneficial but not required. Personnel will perform work along right-of-ways and road sides. Visual Observers will participate in all aspects of drone missions and will also be required to perform herbicide applications when the conditions are unfavorable for drone flight. Requirements Excellent communication skills. Ability to work in inclement weather. Ability to interpret and follow maps. Ability to use a laptop, radio communications and mobile apps. Valid Driver License with a clean driving record is required. The ability to work independently for long hours and out of town with extended overnight travel. Vegetation management experience, tree knowledge and ID skills or drone experience a Plus. Responsibilities Excellent communication skills. Ability to work in inclement weather.
