The ideal person will help plan, produce, and develop stories across streaming, digital, social, and broadcast platforms. Responsibilities:

Help lead and communicate coverage during breaking news, with the focus on accuracy, urgency, and balance Monitor law enforcement, fire, and official social media communications, and make "beat-checks" to determine story coverage Understand and support our brand of Covering Colorado First, which requires identifying stories that impact the community Create and edit engaging and creative content for digital platforms Guide newsroom logistics and provide editorial support for MSJs, producers, and photojournalists Identify and generate stories that will create a buzz Available to work nights, weekends, and early mornings

Requirements:

Hiring Salary Range:
