Position Title:
Medical Editor III Remote, 100% No C2C Our client, a global pharmaceutical company is seeking a detail-oriented Editor to support the review of marketing and promotional materials. This role ensures content is accurate, compliant, and aligned with company standards before distribution to healthcare professionals and consumers. The ideal candidate has medical editing experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be available during daytime Central Time Zone hours. Top Skills Medical editing experience Exceptional attention to detail, proofreading, and fact-checking Strong written communication skills Self-starter who can manage priorities and seek out work when needed Flexible and able to handle multiple projects Key Responsibilities Edit and proofread pharmaceutical promotional and training materials (print and digital) Ensure materials meet grammar, clarity, and compliance standards Compare draft and final versions using electronic routing and annotation tools Validate materials against brand guidelines, claims, and safety references Perform final quality checks on digital and print production files Collaborate with Marketing Operations, Medical, and Regulatory teams during the review process Qualifications 5+ years of editing/proofreading experience Knowledge of AMA style Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or agency environments Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, Veeva PromoMats, or DocuProof Understanding of medical terminology While on assignment Digital People is proud to offer major medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits!
